I had some fun the other evening taking a few photos of myself for a new head shot. In the process I finally did a self portrait for my Possessions/Passions series. You may or may not recall, ages ago I started a portrait series called Possessions/Passions. Essentially I wanted to photograph various people with their most favorite things. My favorite one so far is the very first one I did with Ray. I haven’t done many of these because… well, all kind of reasons. Mainly due to laziness and possibly because I feel I haven’t got a clear and concise vision for this series. It doesn’t have that uniform look I’m hoping for… That aside though, here is a new shot. Maybe it’s the start of something good. A self portrait with one of my most favorite things in the whole wide world, the camera.

Miałam trochę zabawy zeszłego wieczoru robiąc sobie kilka zdjęć. W procesie w końcu zrobiłam autoportret dla mojej serii Posiadłości/Pasje. Może pamiętacie a może nie, wieki temu zaczełam serię portretów które nazwalam Posiadłości/Pasje. Chciałam sfotografować różnych ludzi z ich najbardziej ulubionymi rzeczami. Moje ulubione zdjęcia do tej pory są z pierwszej sesji z Ray’em. Nie zrobiłam wiele zdjęć do tej serii, bo … no cóż, z wszelkiego rodzaju przyczyn. Głównie ze względu na moje lenistwo i ewentualnie dlatego że nie mam jasnej i zwięzłej wizji do tej serii. Nie ma tego jednolitego wyglądu którego chciałabym osiągnąć… Ale pomijając to wszystko, oto jest nowe zdjęcie. Być może to początek czegoś dobrego. Autoportret z jedną z moich najbardziej ulubionych rzeczy w całym szerokim świecie, moim aparatem.
Jest jeszcze inna wersja tego strzału na mojej stronie internetowej. A w przypadku jakby ktoś był zainteresowany pózniej napisze post z skonfiguracją świał i aparatu do tego zdjęcia, a także “przed i po” zdjęcie, aby pokazać ilość postprodukcji.
